Studio 252 Presents is an entire morning on one DVD designed to help enhance your large group experience. The DVD contains a different fully dramatized Bible story every week. Each week, there are also optional intro and outro pieces with a character Host. The intros set up the Bible story and virtue, while the outros smoothly transition from large group to small group. Each month also includes a moving logo along with an animated virtue definition. Both are graphically designed to complement the monthly theme.
In the month of August, Studio 252 Presents: The Good, the Bad, and the Peaceful. Students will get along with the virtue of Peace—proving that you care more about others than winning an argument—as they learn from these Bible stories:
Week 1: Drop It (a principle of peace)
Wally and Nort have a problem. They’re both really hungry but there’s only one snack in the freezer. Will they fight about it or will they learn from the book of Proverbs that the best way to stop a fight is never to start one?
Week 2: Leave Well Enough Alone (Isaac’s wells)
Welcome, sports fans, to the Gerar Grudge Match where the rich and powerful Isaac goes head to head with the men of Gerar. Watch the play by play as time and time again, Isaac proves that making peace doesn’t make you weak.
Week 3: Howdy, Pardon-er (Jacob and Esau meet again)
After years of running, Jacob is coming home again to face the brother he cheated and betrayed. Our cameras were there to capture this family reunion, and if Jacob is expecting his brother to be out for revenge, he’s in for a big surprise.
Week 4: Git Along! (Abigail intervenes)
On this episode of the soap opera, The Strong and the Foolish, the wicked Nabal has mistreated David and his men. David has vowed to get revenge. It’s up to Nabal’s wife, Abigail, to make peace before it’s too late.
Week 5: Think Again (think about admirable things)
Jacob’s had a bad day and he wants everyone to know about it. On We Got Skillz, Naima and Jacob learn that reading the Bible can actually help make your days better. It’s all in what you think about.
Videos are approximately eight to 11 minutes in length if the host portion is used. If only the Bible story video portion is used, the running time is approximately five to eight minutes.
